Electric violinist Roberts Balanas arrives in Kokkola with a unique, genre-defying programme that journeys from Bach to the minimalism of Reich, from Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to the world premiere of a brand-new work by electronic music producer Jabeau, and back again. Just how far can the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra stretch alongside this extraordinary virtuoso?
